new friends (Des Moines, West Des Moines, Oskaloosa: live, pool, friendly)

I have lived in Oskaloosa now for about 4 months and still am having trouble finding friends. I work, I met with a lady from the welcome commitee, my fiancee and I go out to play pool on the weekends to try and meet new people but have no real success. People are friendly but don't want to be friends. If any one lives within an hour- hour and a half from Osky and want to become friends with a real nice lady/couple or if you have recently moved here and am having the same problem I would love to hear from you.

Hi Angie! Just getting myself reaquainted with the boards and stumbled across your posts. I recently relocated back from West Des Moines to Oskaloosa (my family lives in Leighton and Eddyville) and thought you might enjoy getting together sometime? My Mom, sisters and I run a bar in Eddyville (I don't want to violate spamming rules here by naming it) and we range in age from 22-26, some with kids/married and some single.
