It looks like my 3yr old son and I will be spending Thanksgiving alone. Does anyone know of where we could go to share a Thanksgiving meal with other people? Are there any events going on that day as far as Dinners? If so where? I wasn't sure where to look. I checked the Sioux City Journal and didn't really see anything.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I can't find anything online either, but I would try calling Bev's on The River, or Kahill's in South Sioux. I have been to the Thanksgiving buffet at Bev's a few years back, while pricey, it was good. Kahill's is even more expensive but much better in my opinion.

In Sioux Falls (90 miles north), Famous Dave's stays open for Thanksgiving as does the Cracker Barrel. You can check in Sioux City if they have either of these there. Another thought that you would have in Sioux City also is the restaurants in the HyVees. They will be serving turkey and their deli is very good.

Have you checked with your church? Possibly another family would be happy to have both of you as guests. Contact your pastor/priest/rabbi etc.

Thank you, I just now saw that you all replied. Still don't have a plan but hopefully we will be able to do something. I will let you all know.
