^ meth is a problem in Iowa, but mostly because it's PRODUCED there, not because it's used and causes crime there...

I would highly recommend moving to Iowa City or Coralville if you're coming from Spain. It's a very liberal town, always dealing with newcomers and foreign people - hence no one will treat you like an "outsider".

Default davenport
Davenport isnt too bad. Its pretty diverse here. Low housing prices. The only bad thing is the crime rate. A ton of gangbangers from chicago, st. louis,and minneapolis end up here. Davenport is in the top 20 in the nation every year in violent crime rate. They keep cutting police officer jobs here, so I dont see it getting any better soon. Some neighborhoods are nice, but you can make one wrong turn and end up in 10 blocks of ghetto low income apartments. So if you move here get a good map.
