Default akron, iowa-reletives

my great grandfather was a BARR (in law enforcement someway) who had married a GELINIUS (not sure of the correct name spelling) in akron, iowa.
they had a daughter zephrine (goldie) and a son almond (a.d.). goldie married a LUPI (my maternal grandfather) from wisconsin around 1926, and she died at the age of 39 in 1950. goldie is my maternal grandmother whom i never got to know (i was born 1949). anyone give me any information on who might be of this bloodline that is still alive ?
thanks much.

I'm not sure whose bloodline you mean. This family is posted on ancestry.com and rootsweb.com under a McGilvra family tree. You can see the family page this individual has posted here: Eilert Vardell Hazelhoff, b: 1919 - Lake View, Iowa

Is that all information you already have?

thank you woodwardgirl for the reply. i do have the same information that is listed on the site you suggested. in all likelyhood i won't find any living reletives as i've never been in contact with any of them. my mother tells me that she brought me out to akron from kenosha, wi. when i was about six months old (late '49 maybe early '50). apparently i was the first great-grandson to grant and laura barr. he was sapposed to be some character, kind of a bat masterson peace keeper. it would be nice if i could make some sort of contact. i won't quit at this point. thanks much again!

lost_grandson, have you checked out http://www.rootsweb.com/~iaplymou/ and especially http://boards.rootsweb.com/localitie...ymouth/mb.ashx

In genealogy, we call it "leaving footprints" when we post to a site just in case someone comes along later who has the same interest as us. In my experience, that is more likely to happen at Rootsweb and IaGenWeb than at City-Data, but More Is Better! :-) Good luck in your search.
