I live in Peosta because I am in love with the small town atmosphere. My mother lives out here, and needs more help more often than she used to. Living in Dubuque, I wouldn't be able to get to my mother's house fast enough if she needed anything. I am not "promoting" Peosta, I am and always on this forum back Dubuque. If people say they are interested in suburban living outside of Dubuque, well sure, I will recommend Dubuque.
My mother may only have a few years left... She is becoming frail and incapable of handling life's duties. You wanted the reason and now you have it.... I lived in Dubuque until my mother and father asked me to move to Peosta. |
