Any warehouse job would use some kind of a forklift.

Cedar Falls has a huge Target warehouse...I imagine they have a big need for forklift operators. A little bit of a commute though...

Cedar Falls is about 15-20 min to Waverly, not a bad commute at all imho.

That's a good suggestion then, because they're doubling the size of their distribution center as we speak, so I suspect they'd have a need for many additional loaders.

Check out Terex. They manufacture cranes in that town I believe and are hiring so many people that they recently had an ad on the radio. They're expanding their production facilities.

I thank you all for the responses. My dad retired from Carnation in Waverly and I worked at Trexx (Formerly known as Bantam) in the early 70's. I will check out the Target warehouse. My dad isn't in very good health. Thats why I am looking to move back to the area. Again thanks for the help.

Kaieratcat5, I don't know anything about the jobs in CF/Waterloo/Waverly, or about forklist opportunities, but know a lot about taking time out of your life to help elderly parents. Bless your heart for doing it. Take care of yourself!

Same here. You are to be commended for taking care of your parents. It has been many nears since I last was in Iowa. Is Deere still around the Waterloo area? If so might be worth checking out.
