Default Iowa City Preschools
Can anyone speak to quality or reputation of the various Iowa City preschools? We're looking at Kinderfarm, Willowwind, Montessori, for starters. But there's not a great way for us to get a sense of local perspective on these schools - or any other schools we should be looking at for quality preschool. Does anyone have any advice or feedback on this topic? Any help is appreciated!

I've heard good things about Willowwind and I know they just built a big expensive new building farther out from the downtown and LEED certified. I don't know, there may be a waiting list though.

I imagine the Montessori would also be a good quality preschool. I feel silly, but I haven't heard of Kinderfarm before.

You might just have to call each and talk to them individually to get a feel for their philosophies and facts/stats.

Are you looking for preschool or childcare. alice's Rainbow is great. Also the ICCSD has a few preschool and are not as pricey as the others.
