Zeke that is a true Iowa sunset you have there. I'm saving that one to my computer, along with the picture of the "elders" on the classic car that SharpHawkeye posted about a week ago. That cracks me up.
Really though Zeke, I'm in love with that tree line - a very interesting pic! Hope to see more from you.

Glade U liked the sunset. That is from my daughters place north of Cedar Rapids. I have more I'llpost as soon as I get a chance to run through some disk. I have some pic's from the 2007 4th of July celebration in Chariton, Ia. I'll post next. My old home town.

  Some trees and an old windmill. For some reason I like desolate pictures.  But you at least have to give me credit for posting a recent picture with no snow.  Happy that stuff is gone... (for the most part.)

Metro...I like your pictures. Pictures like this sture your thoughts on who built the old wind mill and what happened to the home and family that may have lied there. Where is this located?

Where were thoe last photos from? Wow, yo uall are great photographers! PLEASE PLEASE keep these coming. We are relocating to Iowa and are in search of rolling hills amd rural farmland of 50+ acres . . .

here are some pictures of the Old Threshers reunion. This event is held annually in Mt. Pleasant, Ia. Activity of all kinds goes on every day. One of my favorites is a ride on an old steam powered train. You will see tractors from as far back as the late 1800's. You can read more about it on their web site.
