I am just wondering if anyone knows of a g.k.g or g.k.g. gang or group (note the different spellings with some having a period at the end) in any areas of Iowa or even elsewhere? I do know that it doesn't stand for the grassy knoll gunman (that is some sort of paintball group). Any sort of info would be helpful. Thanks.

There used to be a local band in Des Moines called "God kill God", which was often referred to as GKG.
Dont think they are still around though. Do a Google search of Midwest Bands. |

Not always, the very few gangs in Iowa are usually "branches" (if you will) from gangs in Chicago, KC, or possibly the Twin Cities... a lot of it has to do with drug transportation I would imagine.
So, no, it's not as serious as it is in other areas, and yes, this gang being described by the OP does sound like a "wannabe." |
