Glurb Iowa website
does anybody know what happened to the glurb.com website that was a message board for small iowa towns?

Wasn't it like "Hey Iowa," or heyiowa.com? I just tried looking for it, and typing in that url, and nothing happened, it seems like it was closed down. (if this is the one you are talking about.) What a shame.

It was glurb.com It just disappeared. I know there was some issue with a lady from Nevada suing it because she didn't like the way people were posting about her on it. I certainly hope that wasn't the reason it shut down. That would be quite a blow to free speech.

ya, it had a bunch of different addresses that led to the same site. it was a bunch of message boards about iowa. different sites were heyiowa.com, amestalk.com, and many more. It was a nice place to talk about different things in iowa. i hope it comes back soon

It was a neat site. I think I saw Ervserver posting on the Nevada forum. All the drama there was enough to drive you crazy. It was like a car wreck, I just couldn't keep myself from going back and reading the drama.

iowalink.org picked up glurb's members or a bunch of them. they tell me it started when kicked out and grown evar sence. there nice and no bitchin' alowed, nice talk mostly. i havent joined but lurk there and probaly will join soon. i lurked on glurb and cant beleive the difference.
