Smile Property Tax's in Dubuque

We have relocated to Dubuque from Michigan. We are currently renting a house hoping to buy something this summer before our oldest starts kindergarten. This winter has made it tough to get to know the area. I have however figured out we probable want to go to tthe west side of Dubuque. Any suggestions on the best area with the lowest property taxes.

You might want to look into homes in Asbury. Asbury is west end of Dubuque but considered county and taxes are lower.

I meant to write Asbury homes have lower taxes than Dubuque and some homes on the outskirts of Asbury are considered county until Asbury tries to annex them.
