Ankeny realtor recommendations needed (Des Moines, Altoona: houses, rent, lease)

We'll be moving this summer and need some suggestions on realtors in the Ankeny area for the sale of our house. We need a realtor who is highly effective at selling houses in the 160k-170k range since we need to have it sold by the beginning of August, but we also want someone who is pleasant to deal with. Does anyone have any specific recommendations? What did you like or not like about him/her? Direct messages are fine if you don't want to post someone's specific name on the board.

I would put it on the market now if you need to sell by August. It's taking longer than ever to sell houses now a days.

If you sell it fast, see if you can rent it back from them until August. That's what my boss did.

Stacey Ward with Coldwell Banker is very nice and great to work with. We have recommended her several times to our friends and they all had a great experience with her. We used her when buying our house. She does live in Altoona if that matters to you.

If you want somebody in Ankeny I would recommend Andy Logan. I didn't have as much contact with Andy, but what little I did I was pleased with.

If you decide to go with either of them please let them know Matt Ott recommended them.

Thanks, everyone. We are trying to finish up repairs and stuff now before it goes on the market (hopefully within a couple of weeks).

I appreciate the realtor recommendations, but if anyone has experience selling a house with a specific realtor, I'd love to hear from you. We know plenty of people who've bought houses with specific realtors in Ankeny (including our own), but the problem is that none of them have sold a house in Ankeny.

Bunny Southard does a great job selling homes. She's all over the Des Moines Metro, including Ankeny. She was our realtor when we were buying, but we saw her in action. She does what it takes to get the job done, and she doesn't mess with words. She lets you know what you need to do to sell your house.
