My daughter and her family are considering the Norwalk area for a move next year. They would like information on the schools, rental information etc. They have a young family and a 9 year old. Any information would be appreciated.

It's a small town south of Des Moines. Haven't been there much, but I would imagine the schools are decent. I would recommend other areas over Norwalk though.

I have a friend who went to Norwalk schools - and as far as I know the schools are very good and the community is very safe. The good thing about Norwalk is it's probably a little bit cheaper as far as real estate goes because it's not West or North Metro where it's growing a lot faster. (However, Norwalk is still growing)
