The Governor of Iowa is still determining if adult entertainment shops are an essential business. Romantix has 9 stores across Iowa that remain open 24/7.

And the Gov *still* hasn't issued a statewide mandate on masks.

Iowa historically was a state to look up to when it comes to public health/safety and civil rights. It's probably towards the bottom now in both categories (and is actually on pace to become the most overweight state by 2030).

I know that the blame can't be entirely placed on the elected leadership for these issues, but it's still a gut punch to see how far Iowa has fallen on the "respectability" totem pole over the past few years.

As long as there's hand sanitizer dispensers and leathers masks available, they'll be fine.

When you're doling out the dollar bills, don't ask for change. The dancers get mad.

I"m surprised there's been 57 shootings in the entire state of Iowa this year, much less the lone city of Cedar Rapids. I always thought Iowa was relatively free of violent crime, compared to most states. In some cities, it's not unusual to have more than 57 shootings in one day. I don't remember ever hearing the word "crime" and the word "Iowa" used in the same sentence.

To be fair, violent crime is way up this year on a national level. Probably attributed to being an extremely turbulent election year for many reasons.

They're called automobile back seats.
