Hey everyone, was looking for advice with moving to Sioux City with 2 dogs(large breed). I was offered a job in Sioux City that will about triple my current salary. I want to accept it but I'm struggling with seeing how to move the 6 hours to Sioux City with my dogs. Rehoming or leaving my dogs isn't an option here because they're family and am in process of getting them classified as ESA's. I already found a storage unit here with available units that I can store my stuff for a while then move it later. The part I'm struggling with is where I'll stay with my dogs until I find a dog friendly place to rent.
Any advice is much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Are you thinking of staying in a motel? Because there are a variety of pet friendly motels in SC. There are also some pet friendly Air B&Bs. I'm going to let you google them yourself. If it were me I'd stay here: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/1716858...ds%2FljGlUj%2B

Or you can just put your dogs in a kennel for a week or so while you apartment hunt. I've heard that Bed and Biscuit is a good one.

No need to re-home your dogs! I've done this before. It's a total pain, but doable.

And when it comes time to rent a pet friendly apartments or house, I'd strongly recommend picking one owned by an independent landlord over one owned by a property management company.

I live near SC, but not in it. DM me if you need more help.

It may be a little bit of a jaunt (about an hour each way), but Omaha would certainly have some options if you're having a hard time finding something in Sioux City.
