hey guys,
there is a fair chance i am moving from another country to go college at iowa state and i just wanted to know what the town is like. I live in a much bigger place than Ames so I'm just wondering what there is to do....and generally anything you can tell me about the place? cheers |

Hi, ive been going to Iowa State for four years now and i love it. I also come from a much larger city. If you be sure to make freinds when you first arrive your experiance will be a blast. Its a perfect mix between country and city living. It has ALL the things you would expect from a large city while having half the traffic. plenty of places to eat and the college lifestyle is awesome.

I think you will like it also. It is a pretty campus, nice people, and Des Moines is a short skip to the So. if you need some change. Have fun!
