Unhappy I lost my persian cat :(

I recently moved to Casey IA and somehow my extremely indoor only persian cat got out. I know this is a long shot, but if anyone out there has seen him or has him - please let me know - I miss him terribly

What a bummer, starkitten! What you might do is post some fliers ASAP with his picture and your phone #. A reward offer tends to get attention, too. Unfortunately I know this by experience, but it was a happy ending! Good luck and keep us posted.

I would also post this on craigslist, more locals will probably see it then they will on here. No guarantee anyone reading your ad will have seen your cat, but you never know. An ad in the local paper can also help.

I hope you find your cat soon.

I would also contact all the VETS in your area and also go to Petfinder.com: Adopt a pet and help an animal shelter rescue a puppy or kitten., put in your zip code and locate the foster groups in your area. Someone might find your kitty and place him with one of these foster groups. Of course also contact any and all shelters in the area.

Its posible since he is a gorgeous kitty that someone might find him and want to keep him so posting as many flyers as posible might get the word out so someone knows his owner is missing him.

I am so sorry your going through this.

Also, if you have a pic of your kitty make poster and paper the town and then out an ad in the nearest local papers. you might also want to try where you moved from. sometime cats try to go 'home'

I am SO glad you found your baby. Please come back and tell us how you found the little dear. Was he affraid or was he enjoying his little adventure?

You might do well to get him some kitty Xanax and let the vet take care of it. I have a long haired cat named Lacey, she is almost wild and I havent had my hands on her in days. I can't catch her to brush her daily. I might have to do that before long.

ALRIGHT!!! Congrats! Where and how did you find him? Was he just out cattin' around? Thank God for happy endings! A haircut is no big deal compared to what could have happened!

Well I have been leaving food out on the porch and he hopped up to eat some When I went outside he ran under the car. I sat and talked to him for about 45 minutes before he came up to me - he was so scared - poor dear. He has been eating lots and sleeping the past few days

Poor baby, its at times like this that I wish they could talk so he could tell you his adventures.

Please come back and post a picture of him.
Two of my kitties are microchipped, I am planning on getting the others chipped as well AND putting collars on them.
