My 7 yr old son is currently open-enrolled in Lynnville-Sully elementary...he is doing great there...but we live in Grinnell...I go to college fulltime here...I am looking to compare Grinnell Fairview Elementary School cirriculum with that of L-S...are there any resources online to do this? If the cirriculum is comparable, I will probably move him over to Fairview this yr, but if he would do better in Lynnville-Sully, then I will register him there again...but I need to know this first before I decide...??? Suggestions on where to look? The teachers and principals have not been much help, because each are pushing for their own school, of course, thinking only of the tax dollars that go with his enrollment....any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I am a nearly life-long Grinnellian, and I went to Fairview and Davis. The elementary schools used to be based on what side of town you lived on. Now Bailey and Fairview are K-2. 3-4 are Davis, 5-8 is the Middle School, and 9-12 High School. I also went to Lynnvile-Sully for a short time. Grinnell-Newburg is a considerably bigger school system, so if he can adjust to that, he'll be fine.
