QC cabin rentals
I will be in Davenport for 2 weeks in early Oct for a dog show, and was hoping to find a cabin to rent within a 30 minute drive. Are there any lakes/parks in this area that offer them? If not, could someone offer the best area to get a motel in? Thanks for any suggestions..

Scott County Park (15-20 minutes outside of Davenport) has a couple, but I think they book early.

Hi, my husband and i are always in Davenport during August 30th and the 31st..........i am looking for a "cheap" but quaint cabin....We will be there for a Thursday night and a Friday night. No idea where to find one.....We love the Quad cities and just like looking for things to do.....We have no trouble finding fun stuff to do but really wanted something different this year than a hotel. Can anyone give me an exact name of a place with a phone number.....i am not very good on the computer and I "hate" all the search engines so i usually give up..........close to water would be nice but not necessary.....thanks so much.....Kb

Scott county park is the only place I can think of with any kind of cabins.

I was going to suggest the Fantasuites in Muscatine which have several different "theme" rooms, but I looked up some reviews and it sounds like they're gotten pretty trashy in recent years.
