Default Wisconsin to Iowa

After reading the different comments on Iowa living, it's hard to believe you all are speaking of the same state. TekGeek I like your style I too have lived in Florida and I would rather move to Siberia than back to Florida.

We are leaving our beloved northwoods of Wisconsin to move to Bennett, IA to be near children and grandchildren. But oh how I hate to leave the friendly confines of Wisconsin.

I have COPD and need a good Pulmonologist, since Bennett is between Iowa City and the Quads, I assume my best bet is there. Any help?

Dubuque is a great place; if you have friends in Wisconsin, I think it would be a heck of a lot easier to see them; From Iowa City to Madison, WI is about 3 hours, from Dubuque it is an hour and ten. Dubuque is a great town, and is growing faster and has more to offer than Iowa City. If you give up bennett, which I have never heard of; what is the population... but Dubuque is good. Dont go to Davenport; you'd be making a BIG mistake.

Iowa is a great state; you may get crap for being a "cheesehead" though. lol.

Cheesehead! I prefer cheddar myself...

You'll like the milder winters.
