Default Best way to find a roommate in Ames?

I just recently moved to Ames, Ia from Osage, Ia and I bought a house there. I found 2 roommates immediatly but it was pretty much a fluke how I found them. I go to school at DMACC right now in Ankeny and I work in Urbandale for Wells Fargo. My question is how do go about finding another roommate? Put an ad in the paper or what? Please give me some advise, thanks!

I would put an ad on Craigslist, but set the bar high so you can get a good tenant. You can do this by requiring prior rental history or making the deposit high enough to cover one month's rent for the entire house.

My finance rented her Ankeny townhouse out this way after having it on the for sale market for months. The got 4 bites on renting the place out in one weekend.
