So I seen the show, and I have to ask. How are Iowa rules on schooling your childern?
Is it legal not to send your kids to school, and not home school them? and make them work 8 hours a day on the farm.

Not only the school issue, but also the consuming raw meat? How is this okay? I took microbiology in college and there are so many food bourne diseases, that people get sick from.

I didn't know people like this even existed in Iowa..and I live here! There was an article on this in the Des Moines Register. Evidently, the parents have obtained the liscense to homeschool their children. They had some school officialy confirm this in the paper. There was quite a disgust that arose from the people who saw it, and live in Iowa. I personally don't know if it's possible to eat that much raw meat and not be worm/salmonella infested. But, if they can decieve people on their children's schooling, they can probably decieve people with their diet as well!

Stupid lives everywhere. It is, after all, generic. Forced sterilization does have benefits...

Norwegians in Norway eat raw meat. I know because I was there but I couldn't eat it raw.

I imagine that there are lots of cultures that have raw meat in their diets, but those folks were obsessed and more than just a little paranoid.

I thought the funniest part was when the woman from Iowa had them go into the basement in some sort of drill to prepare for the end or something! I won't eat sushi that is not cooked, I cannot imagine eating that high meat as they called it, aged 3 months!
