Default Is the snow staying on the ground in Iowa City?

I may have to go back up there in the next few days and am wondering about road conditions.

There is some snow on the roads now, but I haven't noticed that it has been slippery except for a few side streets. (Like the one I live on...Coralville needs to plow better...)

However, there is supposed to be an ice/snowstorm tomorrow, so this may change. I'd keep an eye on the Iowa road conditions website if you're looking for information on the major highways. (Iowa DOT Travel Information Service)

Busch71 is on a distinguished road
For the most part the streets around I.C. have been pretty good so far. I've been working off of Melrose (by the golf course) and over by the UI Chemistry building and things are pretty good.

It was OK when I drove there and back on Saturday. The road was pretty clear, but the wind was really gusty and I felt my car was floating ... BTW, saw a couple of accidents on the side of the road, not serious type, probably just rear-end
