Default i need help to find a town in iowa

is there a town in iowa about 10 miles south of mn/ia border? first letter of town may be "L" not quite sure. a friend of mine requested this info.. can anyone help me figure this out?

Hmm that leaves: Little Cedar, Lime Springs, Lake Mills, Lakota, Ledyard, Lake Park, Little Rock, or Larchwood.

Is it right off I-35? If you know what highway it's off of, that will help tons.

There are a bunch of Iowa towns withing 10 miles of the MN/IA border. Your friend would be well advised to consult a map.

If it is right off of I-35 in north central Iowa, I bet it was Lake Mills.
