The buses and the drivers are very nice but....
It's so inconvenient that I don't understand why they even have a system.
They probably wouldn't without Federal funds.
That said, I broke my arm and couldn't drive for 6 months

Being a native Chicagoan who didn't even know how to drive until I moved for my job, I thought, wth - I'll take the bus.
Now, you've got to find the schedule and wait at the stop.
The buses were always on time because hardly anyone is on the bus!
All of the buses wind up at the main terminal - that's where you have to go if you need to transfer or connect - not like an intersection in Chicago or other big cities.
I had to work my schedule around the bus - ugh.
But, in a pinch it was okay.
If you plan on making it your primary means of transportation, you'll want to live near a bus line and get a job near one too.
