There are plenty of things to do for a town its size. They have a shopping mall and plenty of restaurants. Stone's is the trademark restaurant of Marshalltown.
Sorry to tell you but Stone's closed about a year ago. I was only ever there one time(not growing up in M'town) so only just heard about it. Too bad. I think no one in the family wanted to take it over.
