The Ingersoll Area is always popular with the young "in" crowd. There are severall bars in that area and it is close to DMU There is a bar called Star Bar on Ingersoll that is always packed, also one called Wellmans. Both always packed. Apartments in that area are usually reasonable.
There is always downtown. They are doing several new projects down there. They are revitalizing the 3rd and Court areas, which used to be the place to be on the weekend. It got a little run down because the bars closed down. They are now making efforts to make it better. There is a bar near there named The Royal Mile and a german bar called Hezchin Haus (sp?, sounds like Heshin House).
Other than that, I would say the Western suburbs.
