Moving to Des Moines area...tips? apt info? any recommendations?
Hi,
So my family decided to move to Iowa. I decided to come with to go to Drake University.
I was hoping someone could recommend some great apartments to live in the Des Moines area and any nearby suburbs that are also close to Drake. Where are the great and diverse neighborhoods? Safe and clean are important.
We also wanted to fly down to check out Des Moines. Can anyone recommend any cheap but really nice motels?
We do have money saved up to move. But I'm curious, how does the job situation look in Des Moines? I know it is really bad where I live, but I haven't heard much about Des Moines.
