Cedar Rapids - I'm seeking a pediatrician
We've moved from the Waterloo area and would like to find a good pediatrician locally. If we can't we're sticking with the one we've got. She's outstanding, but unfortunately I'll be switching OBs and delivering in Cedar Rapids we'll need a pediatrician here while the baby is in the hospital. I'm looking for a pediatrician that is accepting of selectively and/or delayed vaccinated children. We are NOT non-vaxers. They don't have to push it, just be accepting. I'm okay with explaining our reasons and answering questions as we've thoroughly researched it and we do have familial history (a daughter) with severe complications. I need them to be VERY pro breastfeeding. I prefer someone with a positive look on alternative parenting - cloth diapering, wearing your baby, co-sleeping, and preferably one that enjoys large families. But the vaccination issue is the largest one for us. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
