Read about this on a different site this afternoon. What a sick, screwed up kid. There's obviously a degree of insanity involved when you read about his recent history.

The killer has to have had some kind of dillusional ideas about his relationship with his former coach. Too bad they didn't keep him at the insane asylum he was taken to last week for evaluation. Not placing blame. These things sometimes can be real hard to foresee.

They said on the news tonight that the suspect is being held in Mason City, over an hour and a half away...for his own safety...

What a terrible crime...

No, that mentality isn't practical. Crimes will always happen, always have - it's a filthy world in which we live.

But for the cost of the metal detector and the installation, we could have saved or prevented the loss of a life!!!!!!!!!!1 Think about it. it is not the mentality, it is the prevention of the loss of a life.
