Default what is the town with all the flags?

Good morning! I passed through Iowa 2 years ago & will be doing so again this fall. There was a charming little town off I-80 that I found
while getting gas, and I'd like to find it again. I have been trying to rack my brain for the name...no luck. I looked on the map & think it
might be somewhere near Brooklyn, Iowa.

Flags, flags, flags. EVERYWHERE. Flags were hanging from every utility pole; on street corners, from all the businesses on the tiny main street;
from homes....it was so cool. I will have camera with me this time & am hoping someone on this forum can tell me the name of that
great little town with so much patriotism. Thanks!!!

I had to look it up in a visitor's guide - but you are correct. Brooklyn has the "Community of Flags". It is a year-round display of facs of all 50 states, the armed services and others. The web address is:
www.brooklyniowa.com

Now I have somewhere to go too! Thanks!

hdinia, thank you!! I did do a google search - apparently not very well.

Next time I pass through, I'm going to stop in that little store the website mentions.
And I will make sure to thank an Iowa resident for keeping some heart in the heartland!

Busch71 is on a distinguished road
Definitely Brooklyn. I was through there just before Memorial Day and like usual they had all the flags flying.
