Default Travel time to Minn/StP from Iowa City

Does anyone know the time it takes to drive between Iowa City and Minneapolis? I'm thinking of going to a Vikings game....is it further to the stadium? Google says it's about 5 hours....

Thanks!

We do this trip all the time. It's ~4.5 hours if you go 380/218/18/35. Getting to the stadium may add some time, as 35W between 494 and downtown can be really slow depending on the day. Alternative: spend 4.5 hours driving to Mall of America, park there and take light rail (~25-30 minute ride, it stops right at the Dome and you won't have to deal with downtown congestion and parking costs and walking from remote lots.)
