Default Favorite Eats in Cedar RApids

What are some great places to eat in CR? I've been here for two years and just Discovered El Super Burrito so now I'm wondering what else I'm missing.

The Tic Toc. It's a restaruant/bar place with clocks all over the wall. Very good food. North of downtown area.

Irish Democrat
Emil's Deli
3rd Base on Blairs Ferry

I'd also throw in Hacienda Las Glorias (Mexican food). I usually go to the one on Blair's Ferry right off I-380.

Prairie Soup Co. is in the APAC Building right off the skywalk and is good for a quick lunch. The soups are awesome, and they also have pressed paninis and deli sandwiches.

There's some BBQ place on Center Point that's supposed to be good, but I haven't been there yet.

If your budget is a little higher, Zins has great tasting food but the portions are best described as dainty.

Xavier's -- pizza, sandwiches
Mr. Beans (great place for coffee/lunch...just reopened in Alliant Tower)
Moose McDuffy's -- great lunch/bar food
Oyama Sushi -- sushi & Hibachi Grill
Osako Japaneese Steak House
Leonardo's
Vernon Inn -- Greek food

On the more expensive side:

Blend -- more eclectic, menu changes often. Good place for lunch.

Winifred's

Vino's -- great italian food, nice bar, out-of-the-way strip mall location

Daniel Arthur's -- former funeral home, live music most nights in the down-under bar.

Jiamen -- asian/fusion cusine. Good food/atmosphere.

Light House -- old fashioned supper club. Friday/Saturday evenings usually have Eddie Piccard Jazz Trio in the lounge.

Oh yeah, I completely forgot about the best pizza in the CR area...Zoey's in downtown Marion.

Tomaso's has good pizza too. Try the Detroit style.
