Would anyone possibly know the exact date Tabor was founded? And by who? And what the population was when it was founded and what it is now? Aand if it has a city motto. I am having a lot of trouble finding this. So please help.

Hi Zqdodson,
I had tried with Google Search and came out two of many possible websites. Unfortunately, Tabor has no website of it's own. First one is "Early Settlement And Growth of Western Iowa" website --> http://freepages.books.rootsweb.com/...amily/bio.html (It will tell the year and founders of Tabor, I think, in the second part) Second one is "Tabor, Iowa - Wikipedia The Free Encyclopedia" website --> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tabor,_Iowa (It will only tell population as of Census 2000 and bits of History). Thus not sure of city motto and popluation count when it was founded. Good webpage link, Stevie! Hope this helps you, Zqdodson. Have a great day! Kevin Back here... I was looking up with US Census Bureau and entered Tabor Iowa.. It came up with 2005 population estimate for Tabor is 975. |
