Default Relocating to Marion. Suggestions?

Hey. I have accepted a job in Manchester but decided to stay in Marion and just commute.

Any suggestions about what part of Marion to stay in? Looking for an apartment. Single person, no kids.

I thought about Dubuque and Cedar Rapids, but decided on Marion.

Thanks.

Azure appartments. Cheap, new units and decent management. I've had several friends live there and they all liked it. It's a very large complex on the north end of Marion. You can just take 10th st. north to COunty Home Road, then east over to Hwy 13. Probably a 35min. drive to Manchester. Good luck!

I don't know, I've heard not so good things about Azure and the apartmentratings.com reviews seem to back it up.

Azure Apartments Ratings, Reviews, Map, Rents, and other Marion apartments for rent from ApartmentRatings.com

I don't really know what else is in Marion, but if you don't mind an extra 10-15 minutes added to your commute, I know a couple co-workers that live or have lived at The Point off 42nd Street NE in Cedar Rapids and they've said good things about it. They're reasonably priced and have been recently remodeled. There's also another apartment complex off Boyson Rd. in Hiawatha that seems pretty decent.

Edit: I did a quick search, and here are some better ranked ones that came up for Marion that you might want to check out at that website: Wexford Apartments, Chapel Ridge Apartments

Well thanks. I underestimated the commute from Marion to Manchester. I will now be moving to Dubuque and have to start the search over!
