Indiana is less educated, people are rude, and guess what? They steal your stuff more frequently than Iowans. Iowa is generally a much friendlier place to be. We are leaving Indiana right now and I can't wait

Well, in all fairness, I think both Indiana people and Iowa people are both nice. I'm originally an Iowa native. Both states have great midwestern hospitality and work ethic. There are differences of course. We stress our football team more, and Indiana is obviously basketball all the way.
Both states tend to have lots of smaller mid sized towns outside of Des Moines and Indianapolis.
Agriculture still is a big part of both states' economies.

Personally, I prefer Iowa for the mere fact that it's home...(in addition to DFW). I will always be a Hawkeye fan college wise no matter how bad they've become basketball wise.

I would have to agree that Iowa is more desirable. I was raised in Indiana - now live in Nevada and much happier. Iowa is beautiful country.
