When it comes to winning, They ain't pretty, but they's undefeated!
Still a few games left and Michigan State and Ohio State could throw the Hawks into the loss column but they have a chance at a 11-0 season.

As long as they don't have to face Southern Illinois (defeated UNI this weekend) or Louisiana-Monroe (defeated Arkansas State on Saturday)  .
I'm a Hawkeye fan, but these 2 games against the FCS oppponents and the fact that these guys aren't undefeated having been beat by 2 other FCS teams is not going to be ignored by the pollsters. |

True, but who else would they send? Ohio State? After their bewildering loss this weekend to 1-6 Purdue? That's got to cast as much doubt on them as our UNI and Arkansas State squeakers cast on us. |

After Iowa wins the Rose Bowl for the first time since 1959, probably against USC, they go on to defeat Florida 21 - 17 in the BCS championship game, lol. Texas is still undefeated so who knows for sure, why not think big ?

I'm not a diehard Hawkeye fan but I was born in Waterloo, I still have plenty of family in Iowa and watch them every week that I can. I hope they can keep it up the rest of the season. Once they got past Iowa State I knew they had a chance for a good year. If only Stanzi could be a little more consistent.
