dubuque, iowa apartments, please help
Can any one suggest or give me a contact number to good apartment in dubuque. I would like it close to ibm and a good safe location.

My advice is to not even look in Dubuque for an apartment. I have seen so many slums its not even funny. You are better off looking in Hazel Green Wisconsin or Galena Illinois for a normal apartment.
Dubuque apts are homes that have been made into apts so you get off street parking and no laundry most of the time. Plus with 1300 IBMers moving to Dubuque the apts are so hard to find in the Dubuque area.

HOw long have you lived in dubuque? 5 minutes? DUbuque is NOT filled with slums. I found $300/mo 4 plex on the west side in no time. |

I admit that was 5 years ago. But there are nice places available for under $500 easily. |

5 Years ago maybe but not now. Anything decent is going to be $600 and up. The demise of the downtown area has raised west end apartment rent prices considerably.
