May Allah 's peace and blessings be upon all of you sisters and brothers

Today I want to ask you a question but I don't want all of you to answer , but only those who are serious and objective in their thinking
because I am not going to tell a joke.

In Qur 'an and in
Surah Al-Masad (The Palm Fiber) Allah says :

Perish the two hands of Abi Lahab (an uncle of the Prophet), and perish he!
His wealth and his children (etc.) will not benefit him!
He will be burnt in a Fire of blazing flames!
And his wife too, who carries wood (thorns of Sadan which she used to put on the way of the Prophet () , or use to slander him).
In her neck is a twisted rope of Masad (palm fibre).

In that Surah Allah the All-knowing has stated that Abu Lahab would go to hell ...
I wonder why Abu Lahab didn't evn try to pretend that he converted to Islam and in that case his going to hell wouldn't be just and fair.
His pretension could have proved that Qu'ra is not the words of Allah or that Allah couldn't foresee Abu Lahab 's conversion to Islam which would mean that He is not able to know the future as he described Himself in Qu'ran.

I hope that the message has been transmitted.
Those who are wise will understand und others it would be a pity because they won't
But any way who can hide the sun with his hands!!!!
Best for all of you.

One possible reason would be that he was an honest and honorable man who would not lie just to embarrass his nephew.

If it was mere pretension, then it would not have proved any such thing at all, would it?

My question is... don't you think it a very, very petty thing for Allah to do to reveal an entire Surah just to call a nonbeliever and his wife names?
