The good behavior, manner, conduct, morale in the Quran

Some people here and elsewhere on intention say the Quran is savage, wild, violent, no conduct, no good morale, no humanity, no kindness … while the atheist and idolater are the humanity lover and they practice all kindness and mercy towards the poor and weak!

Here is the wisdom in the Quran 17: 22-39

Read Quran in Uthmani Script Online

The explanation:
The devotion to God alone
([O man] set not up with God another god, or you will sit condemned and forsaken.

Kind dealing with parents
[O Mohammed] your Lord decreed, that you [people] must worship none save Him, and [that you must show] kindness to parents; when one or both of them attain old age in your [home, O man]; then do not say to them any word of boredom, nor chide them, but speak to them respectful words.

And lower to them the wing of humility out of compassion, and say: "My Lord, bestow on them Your mercy even as they cherished me in childhood."

Your Lord knows best that [you hide] within yourselves if you are righteous, then [surely] He is Ever Forgiving for those who always revert.

Kindness to the kindred
And render to the kindred their due rights, as [also] to the needy, and to the wayfarer;

No squandering of the wealth
but squander not [your wealth] in the manner of a spendthrift.
Surely, spendthrifts are brothers of devils, and the devil was ungrateful to his Lord.

Other ways of kindness to the kindred
And in case you turn away from them, seeking for a mercy that you hope of your Lord, then speak to them a reasonable word.

Neither squandering nor restriction of the wealth
And let not your hand be bound to your neck nor open it so widely, lest you come to be blamed and denuded.

[Mohammed,] surely, your Lord gives provision in abundance to those of His servants whom He will, or He doles it out. Surely, He is All-Aware and All-Seeing of His servants.

No murdering of children because of penury
And slay not your children for fear of penury; We will provide for them and for you, surely; to slay them is ever a great sin.

No adultery
And approach not [women for] adultery; for it is ever an indecent [deed] and an evil [way.]

No murder is allowed
And kill not the soul which God has forbidden save by a right [cause]. Whoso is slain wrongfully, We have given power to his heir, but let him not commit excess in slaying; surely, he will be helped to overcome.

Care about the orphan
Approach not the wealth of the orphan save in that which is best, till he reach puberty,

Fulfilling the covenant
and fulfill the covenant; surely the covenant is ever inquired of.

Be just in weighing and measuring for people
Give full measure in case you measure out, and weigh with the standard weight; that is better and fairer in practice.

Don't spy about people
And do not go after that about which you [man] have no knowledge; for the hearing, the sight and the [spiritual] heart, of all these it shall be inquired.

Don't be so proud
And walk not upon the earth exultantly; certainly you [man] will never tear the earth open, nor attain the mountains in height.

All this is ever evil and abhorred in the sight of your Lord.

That is [some] of the wisdom your Lord has revealed to you [O Mohammed]; set not up another god with God, or you will be cast into Hell, dispraised and driven away.)

The Disagreement of the

The truth is, you were just looking for an excuse to make that posting. All of the qualities you've listed are completely subjective. Just because someone says something, that doesn't mean they're right. It's just their opinion. Exactly the same way as you've made your opinions known.

Quote mining the Quran?...I can do that too...

4:34 Men are in charge of women, because Allah hath made the one of them to excel the other, and because they spend of their property (for the support of women). So good women are the obedient, guarding in secret that which Allah hath guarded. As for those from whom ye fear rebellion, admonish them and banish them to beds apart, and scourge them. Then if they obey you, seek not a way against them. Lo! Allah is ever High, Exalted, Great.

9:23 O ye who believe! Choose not your fathers nor your brethren for friends if they take pleasure in disbelief rather than faith. Whoso of you taketh them for friends, such are wrong-doers.

3:151 We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve
because they ascribe unto Allah partners, for which no warrant hath been revealed. Their habitation is the Fire, and hapless the abode of the wrong-doers.

4:74 Let those fight in the way of Allah
who sell the life of this world for the other. Whoso fighteth in the way of Allah, be he slain or be he victorious, on him We shall bestow a vast reward.

5:33 The only reward of those who make war upon Allah and His messenger and strive after corruption in the land will be that they will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off, or will be expelled out of the land. Such will be their degradation in the world, and in the Hereafter theirs will be an awful doom;

And what's your objection one by one?
Have you any book from God better than the Quran that we may follow?

More wisdom and good morale in the Quran

This is in the Quran 31: 12-19
http://www.searchtruth.com/quran_rea...1&page_style=4

The explanation:
(We did give wisdom to Luqman [: Tobias]; [inspiring him:]
"Give thanks to God; for whosoever gives thanks, he only gives thanks for [the advantage of] his own soul; but whosoever is ungrateful, then surely God is Absolute [in independence of the thanksgiving], [and] Worthy of Praise."

Behold, Luqman said to his son, admonishing him:
"My son, associate none with God; for, surely, such association is a tremendous wrong."

And We have recommended man [to be kind] to his parents; his mother bore him with travail upon travail, and his weaning is [to be after the passing] of two years; [We have recommended him to:] "Show gratitude to Me and to your parents; for the resort will be to Me."
"But if they try [their best] to make you [man] associate with Me that you do not know [to be true], then do not obey them [concerning the association]; yet accompany with them with kindness in the World[ly affair],

and follow the way of those who turn devoutly to Me.

Then to Me, you [all] shall return [after death] and I shall inform you of what you were doing [in the life of the World.]"

[Then Luqman: Tobias said to his son:]
"My son, eventhough [the righteous deed] be [as trivial] as the weight of a grain of mustard seed, and [as distant] as in a rock [in the space] or in the [gaseous] heavens or in the earth [as a whole] God will bring it forth [for judgment]; surely, God is Most Kind, Most Aware."

"My son,
perform the prayer,
enjoin the right,
forbid the wrong and
forbear patiently that which afflicts you; for these [moral traits] are among the firm morale of the am'rs [: the angels.]"

"Incline not your cheek humbly to people, nor walk 'haughtily and boastfully' on earth; for God loves not anyone proud and boastful."

"Seek reformation with your pace, and lower your voice; for the most hideous of voices is that of the ass.")

This is not any pride; but only the Quran is superior to other books and the faith is superior to atheism and disbelife.

Just a suggestion...but maybe THAT should have been your thread title, and not the crap about manners, since you've yet to craft a single post reflecting same.

Your posts are rude, arrogant, and often downright mean to anyone who you know to be a non-Muslim.

This begs the question, yet again:

What are you trying to accomplish? to convert us all? to shame us? to actually try to discuss a topic?

Show me the manners, and maybe you've got a valid thread topic; otherwise, it's just more empty proselytizing with ZERO CHANCE OF CONVERSION.

And a tip:

Rather than appear to be bumping your own thread with successive posts every 3 minutes, you might explore the EDIT button on the bottom right-hand corner of your posts. You can add text! Delete text! Add pictures! And all that without appearing to feed the ego.

It is pride and arrogance, and you are so wrong. The Quran is inferior to many other books...After all it is just mostly plagiarized from a preceding book...Atheism is far superior because atheists accept and embrace what is real and discard what is not...We are free thinkers who do not need ayats in order to make our choices... Islam and Allah, like all past beliefs will one day join the others on the dusty shelves of quaint old mythology....
