No comments? Interesting that no one cares to think about a moderate muslim who condemns terrorism.

I care and hopefully more will join in. The muslim world needs more Imams standing up and condemning in public extremists and terrorism. It needs people pouring into the street to stand against acts of terror.

In fact i wrote a couple of posts but didn't post them. The fact is, I suppose, that I am always conscious that, while the reasons for Al Quaida seem ludicrous to me, we, in the west, have not done well and are not doing well by muslims.

No, here again, I have such conflicting feelings that I cannot write a post.

It is always a good thing for anyone to condemn violence.

Strange attractors and strange chaotic disturbances; he says Allah condemns terror and Allah condemns the act of violence. How can He do this if it is attract the terrorists together for the ideal that that is suddenly: a fatwa against Fatwa.

Maybe the scientific theory of 'strange attractors' is not a good one for the justification of Ethics in the presence of progressive change.

My thoughts were *it's about time* and *how many people will he reach?* I do think that having a well-respected moderate muslim cleric speaking against terrorism is a good thing. I think others need to add their voices.
