Keeping the hatred alive.... What are they thinking? Can you imagine the uproar if a mosque had a bible burning?

Quote:
The top U.S. general and NATO commander in Afghanistan on Tuesday condemned plans by an American church to burn copies of the Qur'an on Sept. 11.

Gen. David Petraeus said burning the Muslim holy book could endanger U.S. troops and Americans worldwide.

The small evangelical church the Dove World Outreach Center based in Gainesville, Fla. plans to burn copies of the Muslim holy book on Sept. 11, the ninth anniversary of the attacks on the U.S. The church has been denied a permit to hold a bonfire but has said it will go ahead with the burning.

Default God loves a good fight, right?

Yeah; American mass stupidity on display. Wow! This'll surely help out our international reputation, eh?

There's two related FaceBook pages, one supporting the church, with, as I recall, about 13,000 people who "like" the church, and then there's another FB page that decries it, with about 1.3M folks responding there, denouncing it.

This lop-sided fact, presented to a crowd in Afghanistan, had no effect on their fervent desire to burn American Flags in effigy, as well as pics of the "pastor", a nut case if there ever was one.

He may be right about Islam being largely a religion of chauvinism, hatred and punishment, but this outward display of generalized hatred will backfire on this toad.

And yet, the right-wing Christians are no doubt licking their mail-in donation envelopes as we speak.

It is not helpful, we must all learn tolerance toward people of other faiths and people of no faith.

Wonder how many member of that church would say that they are loving, caring people.

There is no hatred as pure and irrational as that born in the delusion of gods, from the minds of hypocrites with the "good book" in their hand........................ <vomit>

When will these people learn that it was not Islam that attacked us on September 11, it was radical Muslims and terrorists that attacked us. The ignorance is astounding on both sides.

This idiotic stunt will result in a torrent of global violence that will cause the deaths of many innocent people of several nationalities and faiths, including, ironically, Muslims. Car bombs/suicide bombs are pretty indiscriminate.

These lunatics will have hands as bloody as the Taliban if/when they perform this moronic act.
