Quranist: Nice job of cherry-picking. One could do the same with the Bible, leaving out all the nasty bits.

What does Iran laws have to do with Islam?

what a bunch of haters lol

so when USA arrest a muslim ( like al-jazeera news man : Sami Al-haj) and put him in prison for 5 years

what you call that? USA freedom?

sadly my English is weak, and i hate to talk when i know I am talking to close minded people who have an idea in their heads that they don't wanna change

----------------------------

I am just replying here to tell the guy called MysticPhD who clearly just post a reply to any post that have to do with Islam

I am arabic and Deen mean mean religion

DON'T ACT LIKE YOU KNOW ARABIC

you have been saying DEEN in almost every post about Islam

grow up (look it up in English language )

I am a muslim and happy and proud that i have my rights and more

the problem with you people is you thing those who are muslims are lower than you

i mean, half of you western still thinks that arab still lives in desert and don't have any tecnology

grow up and learn about people before judging them and learn about their believes or just shut up if you don't have anything to support what you say and proof it

That's what Iranian laws have to do with Islam. Religion and politics come in one big package in those countries. Ahmadenejad is not in charge. The Ayatollah is.

D

"Some Qur'anic scholars have translated Dīn in places as "faith"[8] Others suggest that the term "has been used in various forms and meanings, e.g., power, supremacy, ascendancy, sovereignty or lordship, dominion, law, constitution, mastery, government, realm, decision, definite outcome, reward and punishment. On the other hand, this word is also used in the sense of obedience, submission and allegiance"[9]."

And the last time I checked, with the exception of cities like Tehran and Dubai, most of the middle east is low on the technology scale. Heck, Afghanistan alone is a great example. If a country's illiteracy rate is above 70%, how can technology thrive? And, the majority of middle eastern countries are mostly comprised of desert terrain, right?

There is no English equivalent that captures the unique meaning of deen in arabic . . . it definitely does NOT mean the same thing as every other religion on earth does. There is NO SEPARATION of the secular from religion in Islam. Deen is a complete way of life (cultural, political, social, religious, economic, etc.)It is the sum total of a Muslim's faith and the code of conduct necessary to obey Sharia Law. It is not just a religion . . . it is a total government over every aspect of life. Deny this and reveal your lies or deception in defense of the spread of Islam.

I am a muslim and would tell you that in Iran they kill muslims for no reason

and that guy called Ayatollah is stupid head

man , they killed thousands of Ahwaz muslim people and hardlly allow them to build a mousqe
and many in Iran even worship their Imam's and obey whatever they say even it's not right

trust me, what ever happen in Iran

is not something that represent islam in anyway

not arabic city....

don't mix things

i clearly said "half of you western still thinks that arab still lives in desert and don't have any tecnology "

let's see....

Quote:
If your countries illiteracy rate is above 70%
i don't trust this static

unless it was done in Sudan (extremlly poor and wars all the time)

and it can't be generlized on all arabic countries (man, there's arab guys who works at NASA, and most arab nowadays speak English or French)

btw, illiteracy doesn't mean uneducated

Abd al-Aziz ibn Abd Allah ibn Baaz - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

that blind man, yet he wrote books

and i have a relative who can't read, yet he can speak english + arabic better than many who reads

Quote:
middle eastern countries are mostly comprised of desert terrain
and what does this have to do with living in desert (not city) and riding camels(not cars) ???

you see dubai? 1970- it was a desert but now a modern city

Quote:
how can technology thrive?
every year many arabic got a PhD degree in IT, what does that mean?

that there was some lucky guys of arab got their degrees by accident ?

List of Muslim scientists - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

education is not limited for USA bro....

and we are out of topic, so better stop

But Islam is completely INTOLERANT of ANY other religion or government . . . except during "truce" when you pretend to tolerate others until you are dominant enough to subjugate them. THAT is the point.

I do not hate Islam . . I despise its archaic intolerance, goal of conquest and barbaric Sharia law. If it were to become civilized and enter the 21st century under true human rights principles . . . it would at least be tolerable like the rest of the world religions.

Ok... except for the fact that only eight of 48 countries with majority Muslim populations govern solely based upon Sharia or Islamic law.

define your meaning by INTOLERANT....

did we have to attack other governments? or religions?

if you mean the Jihad, well it doesn't have anything to do with INTOLERANT with other governments or religions ( Jihad have rules, and it's not like those who did 11/9 or bomb them selfs and kill innocent people <---- when someone make a mistake you should not throw his mistakes on the religion he follow )

as example Russia is full of non-believers, and they got tons of illegal stuff done their ( not to mention that a lot of pedo and underage porn is located there )

so can i say that all non-believers are pedos ?

what do you excatlly mean by INTOLERANT ?

if you do mean Jihad, then i wouldn't discuss it with you due to my weak english

you really need to re-read about truce when it happened (from books that go through details )

you see that way, while i see it as something that will stop crimes and spread love between everyone

so why your point of view should be the right one here?

i don't know if you have arabic (history books) translated to english, but if you do i highly advice you to read from them to know about tolerance of islam

I am sure you can find one in USA

Yea, they let those dam things like freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and equality slip pass those sharia laws.. dam half islamic countries...

I see it as a sign that many recognize the barbaric nature of the abrahamic religions.
