did we have to attack other governments? or religions?
if you mean the Jihad, well it doesn't have anything to do with INTOLERANT with other governments or religions ( Jihad have rules, and it's not like those who did 11/9 or bomb them selfs and kill innocent people <---- when someone make a mistake you should not throw his mistakes on the religion he follow )
as example Russia is full of non-believers, and they got tons of illegal stuff done their ( not to mention that a lot of pedo and underage porn is located there )

i don't know if you have arabic (history books) translated to english, but if you do i highly advice you to read from them to know about tolerance of islam

No one is claiming that ONLY islamic people do bad things. Stop throwing up red herrings to try to distract everyone. But in doing so, you show that you KNOW that there is a fundamental disagreement between those who choose freedom and equality, and Islam.

There are no nasty bits. You just don't know the Koran. Not to blame u though as many Muslims don't or they interpret it based on external sources. Koran gives complete and absolute freedom unparalleled in human literature. The Sects(Sunni/Shia) however believe these verses were abrogated by verse 9-29. They call it the "sword verse". No Koranist will accept abrogation.
