No, if Muham read the Quran, he would not see god ordereding men to beat their wives.

Muham would just see that god allows men to beat their wives if they do not obey.

Hopefully, his wives minded their manners and he never had to rough them up.

You have ignored and refused to answer every substantive question put to you about the Qur'an and the hadiths . . . It is clear where the lack of knowledge actually is.

We dont go by translation alone .. word have to be explaned by most of Islamic scholars for the generals to take it ... it calls " ejma" .
You say that we need to know the meaning of the word, but most generally accepted intrepretations of the word intepret that it means beat. Intrepretations, not just translations.

Now when are you going to answer my question, what Hadiths do you believe to be authentic?

By all the reliable sources, Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. It has been verified by many independent sources, many of which are listed below.
CNN World News ( 14 November 1997 Report )
World Christian Database ( 200-2005 )
Foreign Policy ( May 2007 Report )
And also, by many other websites like,
People's Daily Online ( 2 Nov, 2006 )
Islam is Growing .
And, the number of adherents of Protestants and Catholics is decreasing. So, as people are accepting christianity, they are leaving it at a greater rate as reported in leading newspaper. The New York Times ( 25 Feb, 2008 Report )
Therefore, as verified by indepedant news media, western sources and even by the christian organisation itself, Islam is indeed the fastest growing religion in the world.

So could you till me please .. how many muslims converted to christianity every year & i will till you how many christian converts to islam
We will only except informations from reliable Independent sources
Deal ??
I don't want to sound rude about this, but who cares! I sure don't.
If you are secure in your faith with God and in your religion, why should it matter how many people on Earth share your faith? Do you need the numbers of converts to your religion to be secure that yours is the right faith or do you know in your heart that you are doing the will of God/Allah.

Honestly, if I was the last Christian on Earth, I would still be as committed to my faith as I am now. Nothing would change that. If everyone around me was Muslim, I would not care. If they want to kill me for my religion, so be it, then it really wouldn't matter.

I have Muslim friends and we never discuss what we should believe. If we do talk about religion, we discuss the similarities between the two religions more than anything.

All of this bickering about who's faith is better or who's is growing faster is pointless and childish and only leads to further anger and conflict. This bickering among religions is probably one of the reasons why atheism is actually the fastest growing belief (or non-belief) in the world, which is very sad indeed IMO. We should all be working together to serve as an example for those of no faith through actions of kindness, charity and understanding rather than acting like a bunch of mindless apes.

Are you and your friends American?

Maybe many American Muslims are different from Muslims in other parts of the world.

In general, I think Americans have been more tolerant of other religions. Sure we persecuted the Mormons for awhile, but now we all get along pretty well. We all see religious tolerance as a good thing.

Maybe the Muslims in America are less dogmatic than the ones overseas because they don't see people from other faiths as threats.

i think that i responded to your question about hadeeth ( may be in another thread )
we consider sahih muslim and sahaih bokhary are most authentic ahadeeth we have , in the same time it's work of humann , we believe in probability of existence errors within it , so that we have islamic science to study this branch

and i gave you generally the criteria which our prophet gave us , whatever agree with quran we can accept it to be truth , and whatever in in contradiction to quran we consider it fabricated or mistransmitted

is thier any other questions >
