Very good point: Yet they and Palestinians share much of the same semitic DNA.... go figure but you go ahead deny the truth... So which is more entitled to the land??
The ones who last conquered it and retained it under constant attack from ALL its Muslim neighbors . . . just like the United States. Get over it. It is a fait accompli that will never be reversed . . . but which could wreak significant damage to the region and the world by the asinine attempts to eliminate Israel. Reality may suck for the intransigent Palestinians . . . (who could already have made better lives for themselves instead of this fruitless exercise in futility) . . . but it's all they've got.

The entire notion of "having a right to the land" breaks down absolutely everywhere. As I've pointed out repeatedly, the Greek Orthodox Church has more right to Constantinople than the Muslims do, but the Muslims aren't giving it back for some reason. Is that fair? The Kurds should have a right to a nation of their own but that's not going to happen anytime soon because the surrounding nations are determined to prevent it. Is that fair? Tibet should be an independent nations by rights, but instead it is occupied by China. Is that fair? Turkey had no right to invade Cyprus in 1974 but that didn't stop them. Just like Hitler did with Czechoslovakia, they pointed out that there were SOME Turkish Cypriots (an extreme minority of course) and used it as an excuse to invade. And Turkey still occupies their ill-acquired chunk of Cyprus. Do you think that if we point out that Turkey had no right to invade to begin with that they'll just pull out right away? Is it fair that Turkey is occupying half of this predominantly Greek Christian island?
There are countless cases where the world isn't being perfectly just and fair to one group of people or another. But for some reason, the Muslims love to over-obsess over the tiny little scrap of ground that is Israel and Palestine. Palestinians could even force Israel's hand in ending all ill treatment -- just accept that Israel has a right to be there and stop murdering Israelis. Or they could blow the minds of everyone on the planet and adopt a strictly peaceful and non-violent approach, but I think we all know that'll never happen.
I think Muslims obsess about Israel:
1.) Out of sheer habit. They know they're supposed to whine and complain about Israel cuz that's what they've always done, just as their fathers before them. Religious tradition really.
2.) It's one of the very few cases where the rights of Muslims are being violated by a non-Muslim group. It's fine and good that Christian, Buddist and Hindu minorities are treated horribly throughout the Muslim world -- that's apparently God punishing them for not being Muslim. But if any Muslim is mistreated by any non-Muslim, the entire world of Muslims turns into these ridiculous overreacting drama queens screaming bloody murder. (You think they might try the non-hypocrisy approach? Just a little?)
3.) Because the tiny nation of Israel showed the Muslim nations how weak they've truly become and it's a bitter pill to swallow. They threw their combined might and overwhelming numbers at Israel, and for their trouble Israel kept getting bigger, usually via counterattacks. All of Islam is embarrassed by this and the continued existence and prosperity of Israel is a constant reminder of that shame.

In the form of Israeli government ... yes ...
But under Islamist Palestinian government they are welcomed ..
through history Jews and Christians were freely permitted to exercise their religion during Islamic rule .

There will always be incitements as long as there is occupation .
It's human nature ..

Even now the Palestinians are trying to start a 3rd intifada..
That is not behavior of people who want peace..
Logic and simple human norms says "Occupation and peace can not combine " .
Israel and Palestine could co-exist side by side but the Palestinians don't want peace...
Israel will always win and the Palestinians will always be the losers...
To bad...
Right or wrong there is the same thing in the USA. We have our own Gaza and West Bank. Only we call them the Sioux reservations in North Dakota and South Dakota.
The only difference is the genocide here is almost complete. The Sioux are nearly gone and many of the remaining have been absorbed by the wasichu and are now Native American only in skin color.
I can understand why the last remaining true Sioux hate the wasichu and will never be at Peace with us as long as a single wasichu (white person) remains in the USA
This historicity is pointless unless you can overcome the problem of proving that the modern day Palestinians are in fact their descendants. Given the intervening Arabic conquest . . . it is far more likely that they are simply descendants of those Arabs . . . which means of the two modern groups today the Jews are the ones kicked out by conquest . . . not the Palestinians.
RESPONSE:
No. You have the argument exactly backwards. The Jews would have to establish that they were the first to inhabit the land. If they can't, the Jewish claim has no historical basis.
there needs to be a 2 state solution.... But the Palestinians are not peace partners...
They do not want Jews there period...
That is, of course, the heart of the matter. Israel per se isn't their problem; they wouldn't mind Israel if it was an Arabic state.
Syria, which treats its small Jewish minority like animals, rarely gets criticized. But all you have to do is pick up a newspaper--or click onto the internet--and everything that happens in Israel is portrayed as some kind of terrorism (if not genocide) directed at Palestinians.
Israel and Palestine could co-exist side by side but the Palestinians don't want peace...
Israel will always win and the Palestinians will always be the losers...

They would return to their original positions as they were always scattered every where around earth ....
Palestine is just a temporary phase for you & then you will go back to be scattered again .
It is not my will , It is the will of Allah ..., Labyrinth in lands .
