your first map shows that transjordan was part of the original palestine mandate

it is now the kingdom of Jordan, an arab state, with a palestinian majority and a palestinian queen

your last map shows that the lands under dispute are a tiny part of the entire middle east, most of the rest of which is arab

your 2000 map shows as Israeli land, area c under the Oslo accord. That is under Israeli civil and military administration, but has not been annexed to Israel. Israeli PM Barak in 2000 and 2001, and Olmert in 2008, offered to withdraw from most of that area. Even Bibi, in his most recent statement implied he would withdraw from much of it, for peace.

To arrive at final borders, and a Palestinian state living in peace with a jewish state, will require both sides to set aside emotion, as far as possible.

Just think. If the Arab countries would have been cool with Israel and not attacked her in 1948, 1956 and 1967, Israel would still be in its 1947 mandate borders.

I definitely agree with this much:

How still would we here in the USA have been in 1948,1956 and 1967 if in 1947 Russia had given the USA back to the Native Americans, and moved all non-Native American people to: Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and New Mexico.

Except the Jewish homeland has always been the land of Israel... We have a long history there...

So your comparison does not work...

And the Palestinians that stayed in Israel are Israeli Citizens. Those that ran while the surrounding Arab armies attacked the state are now refugees...

To bad all the surrounding Arab nations didn't make room for the refugees instead of letting them squander in camps...

The Druize are Israeli Citizens too because they sided with Israel....

The palestinians are not victims here.

Except in 1948 there was no Palestinian state. And Israel did NOT get all of the area that had been in the Palestine mandate. and outsiders did not move the Palestinians out of the area that became Israel, that happened as a result of the conflict itself. And despite that, many arabs remained in Israel after 1948.

Anyway, rehashing the events of 1948 will help no one.

The Israelis arent going away from Tel Aviv and beer sheva. The palestinians arent going away from Nablus and ramalla

The Israelis arent giving up their identity as national Jews - they are not willing to be "Jewish Palestinians" The Palestinians are not going to give up their identity as Palestinians - they are not going to become Jordanians, or 'just arabs' or whatever. A one state solution, whatever its called, and whomever is in the majority, will be a disaster for both sides. The Jews need a national home - in Israel. The Palestinians need a national home - in a Palestinian state consisting of the West Bank and Gaza.

there is work to be done on boundaries and other issues. Its not easy work. Not every israeli or Pal politician is doing their best to make it easier. But its the only path, that I can see, to a desirable outcome for anyone.
