That reminds me of a guy I used to work with who declared salt water and fresh water won't mix.

I said, "Really? What happens when the Mississippi river gets to the Gulf?"

He said, "It stops."

it is not possible to mix fresh water and salt water when you put a barrier between them.

and here is the miracle in the Quran.

how did the prophet Muhammed peace and blessing of ALLAH be on him know that there is a barrier between them .
He hath loosed the two seas. They meet.

There is a barrier between them. They encroach not (one upon the other).

Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny. The Noble Quran

ALLAH told him

ALLAH who created them and created you and created every thing.

Well .. he is wrong ..
It does not stop ,
However, when the Quran talk about this phenomenon it shows the existence of a barrier between the tow kind of water before it can mix ..sweet water tends to flow on top because sweet water is less dense than salt water (Can you deny that ?) .
The relatively high viscosity of water is the cause for the salt water being displaced as a whole, rather than mixed with the sweet water immediately .
what distinguishes fresh water from salt water in estuaries is a pycnocline zone with a marked density discontinuity separating the two layers. This partition (zone of separation) has a different salinity from the fresh water and from the salt water .

That is why when you translate the holy Quran you could go wrong in some words & that could give the wrong meaning of the translation .
Now lets review that verse again ..
This is the verse that I wrote :
*53"It is He who has let free the two seas of flowing water: One palatable and sweet, and the other salty and bitter; yet has He made a barrier between them, and a partition that is forbidden to be passed."
here is the same verse in a better translation :
*53." And it is He Who has let free the two seas (kinds of water), one palatable and sweet, and the other salt and bitter, and He has set a barrier and a complete partition between them".
It clearly shows the existence of a barrier that science now calls it partition (zone of separation) .. it still a Scientific discovery that was not known back then .

It's interesting that Muhammad accepted what we now know as the Old Testament as the revealed word of God (he even plagarized a good deal of it), but at the same time let that so-called angel convince him that the Scriptures were full of lies!

What's up with that?
Nothing ...tow Prophets (PBUT) to the same God .
Allah the mighty ... so of curse Muhammad accepted the Old Testament .. he just said some major parts of it was(still) distorted .

The fresh water and salt water still mix, even if they are of different densities. Have you ever heard of brackish water?

Good....of God.
Evil......of the devil.

Did you ever notice that just about every religion (if not ALL of them) which denies Christ begins with the assertion that the scriptures have been corrupted? How convenient.

And, if Christ IS the only way to a righteous relationship with God, what else would you expect the devil to say about it?

How did Muhammad know?

And the answer is...he didn't! People have looked through the lens backwards and interpreted passages in the Quran as something they were not intended to be.

Hmmm, let's see here, Muhammad lied, plundered, raped, murdered, and oppressed. He plagerized the Bible and perverted the essence of the chatectures. And according to his teaching it's cool with Allah is you commit all these sins, but if you choose to despise all of Muhammad's evils, then you should be oppressesd and sent to hellfire for eternity. So basically Islam forces people into tolerating sin, and teaches to hate everything that is holy and who despises sin and evil.

Ramses II didn't drown in the sea. He was an old, infirm man (as examinations of his mummy shows), and probably couldn't have even stood up in a chariot, much less chase the Hebrews to the red sea. Sorrry, but the exodus didn't happen. It's a story meant to inspire the faithful of that culture, not a record of actual history.
