Do you think Adam and Eve were physically created away from Earth and then transported here?

Or do think the "human spirits" of Adam and Eve were created in Paradise and then transferred to human bodies created here on Earth?

Or was there some other scenario?

Since you are asking my opinion. I believe they were created someplace other than earth and then moved to Earth. Not cast out of heaven as a punishment but sent here as their time in Eden was complete and they had learned all that was needed to survive on earth. As to what Eden was, I do not know and leave the door open that it could be another Dimension, Another planet, a level of heaven etc. but I do not find anything that would exclude a transfer of Souls and not a physical move.

The Qur'an does not mention Adam and Eve being cast out as a punishment. Since it is not clearly mentioned many Scholars come to the conclusion it must be something that was common knowledge. ie The book of Genesis or Arab tradition. Some find verification of that in Surah 2 ayyat 36

Then did Satan make them slip from the (Garden), and get them out of the state (of felicity) in which they had been. We said "Get ye down, all (ye people), with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be your dwelling-place and your means of livelihood - for a time". Surah 2.36

That was a good overall summary, Woodrow.

Based on what you have observed in your life, do you sometimes think humans should have learned more about living peacefully with each other before leaving Eden?

It is kind of like the ways we raise our children. We want to give them a good start in life, but we don't want to control them too much. If they leave home and behave irresponsibley, we feel that we should have given them more guidance before they left.

Most Humans, possibly all creatures seem to have an ego that makes them think they could do a better job than what their parents or creator taught them

A somewhat destructive trait, yet one that helps assure that the overall end is progression beyond the beginning.

Sort of a paradox, one reason we can progress beyond our ancestors is because we are arrogant enough to defy authority. We may get our hand slapped and get our fingers burned for messing up, but it is a trait that separates us from the unthinking beings. The ability to disobey, eventually leads to progress of mankind. Although it can back fire and lead to total destruction. A risk, but perhaps a needed risk.

That was a very good explanation, Woodrow.

We humans certainly are complex creatures.
