.

in one of the battle in the era of prophet Muhammed peace and blessing of Allah be upon him

a muslim man got one of the non muslim and then started to kill him by his spear

then the non muslim man said there is no god but Allah

but dispite that the muslim man killed him.

when this incident reached the prophet he got very angry and said to the muslim man

did you kill him after he had said There is no god but Allah

the muslim man said

O Messenger of Allah, he said it in dissimulation and out of the fear of the weapon

the prophet said

Did you tear his heart in order to find out whether it true or lie

then the prophet said

where would you go from " there is no god but Allah" in the day of judgment

So the lesson here is, it's not cool to kill those that kneel to "Allah" but It's ok to kill all "non believers". A story for the childrenz.

Have you torn into the heart of the poster and know what is in there, before you attacked him? Like the man who killed, you passed judgement without knowledge of what is in his heart?

You believe Muslims automatically condemn and hate all non-Muslims. Yet, you are showing that you automatically hate and condemn all Muslims. You are acting the same as that which you claim to hate.

Woodrow,

Try to remember what that passage looks like to the non-muslim.

Maybe there was context left out, but the way it looks is that Muslims can force conversion at the end of a sword.

Afterall, why should the persons religion have any bearing on whether he deserves death?

I didn't attack anyone. Read the first post. It is what the "lesson" states. Muhammad had a problem with his henchman for killing someone who submitted to Muhammad's "God", but victims who don't humiliate themselves and submit(by force), get the sword with Muhammad's praise. THat is the teachings of Islam. Forcefully "convert" others or face death, and show no mercy to all "non believers".

You are correct. I do know the whole story that was related and Ball Pean does not.

One needs to know that at the time that ahadith was written there were only a handful of Muslims. The Arabian Peninsuela was a very dangerous place. The majority of the Arabs were pagan and very barbaric. Raiding other tribes was a way of life and each tribe was at war with all other tribes. When coming across a person of another tribe it was almost always a case of kill or be killed.

This was in the midst of a fierce battle with a tribe that was determined to kill the small group of Muslims. Islam was still very new to the Muslims and they had only recently left their Pagan life style. It was unheard of for any tribe to spare any lives. , Muhammad admonished the man for killing one who had surrendered. This was probably the first time in the History of the Arab people a person was admonished for killing a member of another tribe.

THe lesson is that someone who is forced to humiliate themselves and "convert" to the religion of Islam for fear of his own life should be spared, or else Muhammad might whine about it. While those that don't humiliate themselves and "convert" at the end of the sword should be killed and spat on. Feel the compassion.

The Banu Qurayza had surrendered to Muhammad unconditionally and Muhammad had the men beheaded, and the children taken for slavery, and the women taken for sex slavery. It is known that Muhammad had sex with sex slaves the very same day he had their husbands/brothers/fathers killed.

Apparently we are using different sources of history.

Maybe he was reading the book of Joshua, in the Christian old testament. There, it seems God fairly regularly told his followers to kill all the men and take the women as sex slaves.
